Our story • Why Iron + Oven exists
Built so the chef doesn’t disappear into a 90-hour workweek.
Iron + Oven was born after one more late-night restaurant tour that looked great on paper and terrible for real life. Jake is an executive chef, a single dad raising two teenage boys, and a lifter who cares about feeling strong in and out of the kitchen.
Instead of signing up for another 70–90 hour restaurant grind, he built a different path: a chef-led, high-protein meal service that lets him pour his skill into food while still being present for his kids, his health, and the people he loves.
That balance is baked into Iron + Oven. It’s for people who want to train hard, build something meaningful, and still sit down with their families at the end of the day – without sacrificing nutrition along the way.
